Test Cases

As with most testing, having detailed test cases for what is needing to be tested helps to focus the testing on areas that may be critical. These test cases also ensure that proper coverage is being obtained, and common areas customers may use are also being tested. Here are several of the test cases that were written on what I was going to automate.

Quality Assurance / Finding Bugs

Just as carving and artwork relies on focusing on details, when testing computer software and applications you need that same focus to ensure Quality products are being released to the customer. By focusing on all the details of how it should work and how customers will use the software, we are able to find those bugs and issues and resolve them before the customer is faced with them. Work Experience

Throughout my career, I have developed expertise in software testing, ensuring high-quality deliverables and efficient testing processes for various projects. I have worked for several companies using different testing techniques, enhancing software quality and performance. Tools that I have used include Postman, Jmeter, WebdriverIO, Javascript, Jira, and many other tools.

My Professional Journey

My software journey started in technical support, where I worked my way up to a Global Level 2 Support Engineer. In that Role, I was able to travel to India to train Support engineers there. I also spent time in Europe helping to Manage and Lead our European support team. I moved into Quality Assurance and have stayed in QA positions since that time. I have been a liaison for companies like ServPro, StateFarm, and GAF and worked directly with these customers to ensure quality software was provided for their agents in the field.
